  1. The gang at Knott’s provided each family with these snazzy beach bags which contained a towel, a squirt toy (which the kids enjoyed tremendously!)  and other goodies.

Love the @knotts #SoakCityOC bag! It’s huge and has a zippered bag attached to it. Makes it easy to find your $$$. http://pic.twitter.com/YH95umCY
  3. And the fun began! Water slides and other water fun attractions at Soak City pay tribute to our area’s rich surfing heritage with names like Malibu Run and Laguna Storm Watch Tower. Of course, the lazy river was easily a family favorite.
  4. The Harbor Waterworks was great for all ages.

The giant bucket @knotts #soakcityoc dumps a gazillion gallons of water every few minutes. Love this picture…. http://pic.twitter.com/Ztd0T9w7
  6. We enjoyed a BBQ lunch courtesy of @Knotts’ #SoakCityOC because it was quite the special day. Soak City also has three main dining places – Longboard’s Grill for burgers and dogs, Surf Daddy’s Food hut for icees, pretzels and churros, and Surfin Taco Grill.
  7. At Soak City, there’s a water-themed attraction for everyone. The little ones enjoy Gremmie Lagoon.
  8. Bigger kids and the more daring among us can enjoy giant slides like Old Man Falls and the Pacific Spin pictured below.
  9. But the Tidal Wave Bay was easily our kids’ favorite
  10. Here’s a tip, rent a cabana $140 for the day for 8 people.
  11. All in all, it was an amazing day, and a great way to kick off the summer season.
